## Questions & Answers

**Q: Any good for a Line 6 amp, 100W or is it not suitable??**
A: Yes this will work. The Line 6 range is solid state so this will work ok. The distortion settings might be a bit lacking, that was the only issue I have with this. I use mine in a chain with separate distortion pedals & a flanger in front, but that's my personal preference. This pedal has some great features, particularly the reverbs, delays & chorus settings. The auto wah is good too.

**Q: Does it come with power 9v adaptor**
A: Yes it comes with power 9v adaptor

**Q: Does it work with bass guitars?**
A: Yes it does

**Q: Is this pedal suitable for electro acoustic guitar?**
A: Yes, it will work with electro acoustic guitar

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Performs well, good selection of available effects
*by J***Y on 4 August 2019*

Asmuse Guitar Multi Effect Pedal MG100 Professional ProcessorThis is a decent size pedal measuring in at 25 x 25 x 8 cm, it is not particularly heavy for it's size which is probably due to it's plastic construction although, the base is made from metal. I was pleased to find that the manufacturer has supplied a power supply unit for this, it's a single plug transformer type with a good length cable attached. The pedal has a plastic body with a metal frame built into the base. The two small foot pedals are also plastic but do feel quite sturdy, with the large foot pedal also being plastic with a built in rubber grip pad on the top surface. The small function buttons are rubber with some which light up in various modes. The four main dials are also plastic but again do feel quite sturdy. The main control panel is made from brushed aluminium, this is screwed in place. Mounted within the control panel, along with all the dials & buttons, is a small display screen, this is full colour, it's also quite bright. The display screen gives a lot of information, it is fairly easy to read despite it's size.I have owned and used many multi effects pedals over the years, along with many boutique stand-alone effects pedals. I have purchased this for my son as a gift, so I was keen to give this a try myself before handing it over to him.First thing to note is that this powers up as soon as you plug in the power supply, there is no on/off button which is quite common with other similar effects units. I first tried this going into my amp where it performed without issue, although I did find the sound a little on the bright side, this was rectified by disabling the amp sim from within the edit function on the multi effect pedal.Next I connected this up to my mixer, I did initially have some issues which really were my own fault. The issue I had was that I couldn't receive any sound through the mixer, I then noticed that I had lifted the volume pedal on the multi effects pedal so the sound had been muted. Once the pedal was depressed down as it should have been this then worked fine through the mixer giving a good sound. At first this was a little confusing, but once you get your head around the controls it's really quite easy to work out. Firstly I played through all of the available presets, some were useful, others I will never use but that's par for the course with most multi effects pedals. You do have 37 user presets where you can edit or create your own sounds, I set to work on tweaking a few of the available presets. After a little trial & error I have now created some of my favourite sounds saved to some of the user presets. This pedal has a lot of features, it has a drum machine, looper along with many amp sims, cabinets, various effects pedals along with a foot pedal that can be edited to carry out several different functions.I have gone through most of the amp sims & cabinets, they do give a varied sound so this should suit most styles of guitarist. I play clean guitar, mostly 50's, 60's instrumentals. I was able to program the multi effects unit to give a good sound which was representative of the style that I play. There are 6 delay pedals to choose from, each giving a slightly different sound. This equally accommodates distortion, overdrive even jazz so it should suit most guitarists. This is not a top-end multi effects pedal so it's never going to compete with something that's costing 5 times as much, but really, for what this cost it certainly does deliver. The effects are rock solid, along with the amp sims & cabs, this gives a good crisp sound without any hiss or other nasty background noise. One thing I will note, as I know some will want to know. That is, if this supports multi tap, as in 3 or more heads giving different sets of repeats coming from a single delay unit? The answer is no, neither can you line up delay pedals in the chain. Having said that, you can get a good single multi tap from this. Also there are 3 various reverb pedals available, sadly there is no spring reverb, but you do have plate, room & hall. For what this cost it gives virtually all that most guitar players would want, it does save having a floor full of various pedals scattered around, plus you only need a single power supply unit (supplied). You can get a good sound out of this if you are prepared to spend some time with it. The factory presets are quite decent, giving some good sound,s which will probably be enough for many without ever having to touch the edit button. But then again, what guitarist doesn't want to fiddle with the dials? - Recommended!Contents -1 x Multi Effects Pedal1 x Owners manual1 x Nux stickerIf you have found my review at all helpful I would very much appreciate if you could click the 'Helpful' button below, thank you.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well and really good supplier
*by S***S on 14 September 2020*

Great little pedal. Clear, clean sound and so far I have not noticed any issues with interference, clicks, buzzing or the usual problems. Well worth the money. Most importantly what a great company. I had a problem with the original order (nothing wrong with the product, just a shipping issue) and they couldn't do enough to sort it for me. They were helpful and focused on solving the problem.Highly recommended business and a good product. Nice to see such good service and a product that does exactly what it is expected to do.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pedal for the money - customisable sounds!!
*by D***J on 13 November 2022*

I've had this pedal for a couple of years and still enjoy using it - so definitely value for money!I'll start with a couple of negatives (plenty of positives also, so pls read on): ~ I had a similar unit (different brand) ages ago which had a some simulated acoustic and 12 string settings, which this doesn't have. ~ If you were playing live and had to switch through different sounds, could be tricky (easily addressed by customising the 'user' batch of effects). ~ the variety of preset effects is limited, a few chorus/flange effects, but most of the effects are different types of overdrive and distortion.But...in my view the BEST aspect of this unit is that you can customise the sounds. There are (I think) 35 'factory' presets, which you cannot change, these are then repeated by 35 'user' presets which are completely customisable. For each of these user presets it is like having access to a chain of pedals, or a pedal board, each one of the 'virtual pedals' you can adjust. You can change the type of amp sound, you can introduce - and adjust - flangers, chorus, delay, distortion, tremelo, reverb etc etc and rename the preset so you know what's what. One of the best bits is that when customising a preset, there is a graphic equaliser (i.e. tone) so if you think that the sound (esp some of the distortions) is a bit scratchy, thin or otherwise not to your taste, it is easy to thicken it up and add some mid tones. It took me a few times to work out the controls for how scroll through and customise the sounds, but once you get it, it's pretty straightforward - and if you end up in right mess with a horrible sound (I did) :) you can do a factory reset and start again. When customising the presets there are only 3 knobs, so there are limitations, but it still allows for a pretty wide amount of adjustments. I use this with two other pedals. I don't have a tuner pedal, so it's nice to use this unit for that function in my pedal chain. You could potentially use the wah looking pedal as a volume pedal. The unit has a record / looper function, which I haven't tried. The unit also has a decent amount of drum settings to play along with. Not sure if you can change these much, they ain't a "drum machine", presumably not designed for that, but useful to have something to keep you in time. A nice touch is that it's got a headphone socket, so you can use it to practice in your room without an amp.
