Channels 5 and 6 were set to 40db gain. They are hidden in the menu so its not obvious. One of the reviews on amazon.com complained about it but it was probably for the same reason. Now they are silent all the way to 100% gain! Everything about this is fantastic again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good solid product from Sound Devices. *by A***R on 28 August 2019* Decent sound quality, rugged build and excellent attention to design and detail that is typical of Sound Devices products. I like mine.
