I wear these leaving the centre sticky bit ‘in-sticky’. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Over Patch For Dexcom One Plus *by R***L on 18 September 2024* As a relatively new diabetic user of a CGM, I was keen to get some over-patches because I’m quite likely to bump the device accidentally, as I’m pretty wide shouldered. I liked the look of these because, unlike others, these offered an X-Shape covering over the CGM, gave the option of sticking adhesive to the CGM or not, and some flexibility allowing for greater range of movement. I’ve been very impressed. Although a little difficult to attach on the first attempt, you soon get used to it and apply them faster and more easily each time. They’re a lot easier to put on than the ‘normal’ over-patches that surround the sensor rather than going over it. They seem waterproof - I’ve showered in mine without problems, and they don’t restrict the Bluetooth connection from the CGM to the phone. My only gripe is that one ‘arm’ of every patch has come off after 3-4 days, so I’ve ended up using 3 in 10 days, whereas I expected to use just 1 for each 10 day sensor lifetime. As they’re considerably more expensive than the more conventional over-patches, using them so quickly might make them a monthly expense rather than a 6-monthly one.
