I contacted Anker support and they confirmed this. They say the Nano II version WILL support Magsafe charging IF that is the only cable connected and drawing power from the charger. They explained: "Because of the charging strategy of the M2 Macbook that disconnects its MagSafe port when it receives a power adjustment, there will be disconnections when charging the M2 MacBook with the original Magsafe charging cable with multi-port chargers including the GaNPrime chargers."
