I returned a competitor's headset yesterday after some frustration and waste of time attempting to get them to function. The Turtle Beach Headset has a transmitter that plugs into the USB port on the Xbox where the other pair had a transmitter that stuck on the controller which is simply annoying and impractical. Anyway, the TB Headset arrived today and within a short time after charging the unit they were functioning beautifully! No searching for directions or solutions! They worked and the sound quality is outstanding.
