Construction, fit and finish are identical to the original mount and it worked perfectly with my camera after installation on the lens. Remember this does not have the electronic contacts so you will need to use all manual settings from aperture to shutter speed to get the correct exposure. Good quality at a reasonable price. Look closely at the product image and you'll notice that there's a tiny silver bump on the bayonet mounting ring. That silver bump is a screw which serves as a rotation stop. You WANT THAT. When removing the T-ring from the camera, the screw stops the rotation of the t-ring when it's lined up for removable from the camera (the feature is more important when removing the ring then it is when putting it on.)
