I have another Maxpedition pouch similar to this that's made specifically for large phones but I wanted a vertically oriented one that could take some abuse like the other one (which is also excellent). My only criticism is that as a phone case it's a bit overkill but I understand it's not meant strictly for that so it's a good compromise. Everything is stitched extremely well and the materials are top notch. I have no worries this could go through hell and back and survive with a few scuffs, and the strips on the back should make it easy to strap to a backpack if I ever need to. The loop that hangs down I don't really need. It would be nice if there was a way to tuck it out of the way. If they made a vertically oriented phone pouch like their horizontally oriented one I would have bought that instead but this is a good compromise if a bit overkill for a phone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great fit for a phablet *by S***M on Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2016* Fits a Google Nexus 6P perfectly @ 6.27 x 3.06 x 0.29 in, with none to spare on the sides, but a little room to spare vertically if you wanted to carry something longer. There's a rigid separator in the main compartment in case you wanted to store two devices, or a slim power bank, I suppose. The pen loops on the sides are a nice touch, as well as the belt loop and the double cord hangers on the back panel. Made of the same tough nylon as my Maxpedition Gearslinger, I'm sure it will be durable. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Tie me kangaroo down, sport. This would make a very awkward and clunky "holster" for phones and other frequently accessed electronics. The main interior is more a floppy bag than anything else; it lacks the internal structure and stability to make it truly useful as a quick access pouch.It's worth noting that, whereas this item is MOLLE *compatible*, it's not inherently MOLLE attachable right out of the box; for that, you'll need TacTies, or similar, items (sold separately, natch').
