Ideal for creating personalized apparel and gifts with a soft, stretchable finish. ## Description How to use heat transfer paper with a heat press: [1] Print the image on the front side of the iron on transfer paper (the smooth and soft side is the front side). After printing, let the paper dry. [2] Cut the transfer paper for t shirts into the shape you want, being careful not to miss the white edges. [3] Pre-heat the heat press to flatten the fabric. [4] Peel off the backing side and place the printed image face up on the flat fabric and cover the image with parchment paper fully. [5] Heat transfer the image with 329F 338F for 15 seconds. [6] After finishing ironing, remove the parchment paper without cooling. I had another type of transfer paper that I didn't need to peel and I was required to flip the image. Now I understand why they said not to flip the text. Thankfully I only ruined 2 shirts before I realized my mistake. I should have read the instructions better. Duh. I do think think that they should provide more parchment paper and it should be cut as large as the paper. Its smaller about an half inch on each side. However, if the image is too big, just use two sheets. The Image is vibrant but it has a very plastic feeling. The previous type I used, seemed to melt more into the fabric and wasn't as thick on top of the fabric. Make sure you set the temperature correctly on your iron. It prints so beautifully (and with a subpar printer at that)! The backing paper comes off easily and it looks awesome when ironed on the tshirt! One thing I’ve learned to be careful with is: If there are any tight inner angles on the image, I have to be very careful when peeling the backing off as the image can tear or stretch in those areas. I tore a small area on both of these but it doesn’t show at all after carefully placing the image down and ironing it on. I genuinely hope they launder and wear well.
