**Q: Can the brass version be used in fresh or saltwater?**
A: Fresh water use is fine. Saltwater use is fine if it is temporary and rinsed afterword. Long periods of submersion will cause oxidation.

**Q: Does it have two modes - secure in place & quick disconnect?  There are situations where I'd like to be able to use both.**
A: I love this quick keychain has 2 magnets and you can pull the two apart with a little effort. I have the car key and key locater on one hoop and the other keys on another hoop. This give quick release so I can still have one half  in the car and give someone to use the  other keys when necessary.

**Q: I have two sets of keys for my two cars and house keys. Should I buy this quick release keychain  or is there something better?**
A: Yes. I bought three rings. One for work keys and two for each car. I use the pull apart feature all the time.

**Q: What material us magnet made from?**
A: The magnet insert is an iron-boron-neodymium ceramic alloy. The coating is Nickel. Hope that helps!
