Some may feel these types of adapters are not really necessary as they are older ones out there with USB-A but I hope to say that may be true but as USB-C is the future and allow better and faster connections then when I saw this I just had to have it as my older USB-A adapter has been used for a very long time and I wanted an upgrade. Out of the box, top quality and long lasting build quality with a very decent 90 centimetre cable length and even better than my old adapter cable. Drivers for the adapter automatically loaded on Windows 10 and 11 so very ncie to see that I was not having to search random driver sites to get it working. Simple plug and play, plug it into a USB-C connector and the other end into my DB9 to RJ45 cable that I use to manager and support my network switches all working great and at a great price point. This adapter uses the well known Prolific Chipset and worked in several terminal emulators that I use to manage my environment.
