My doctor suggested a brace of some kind to help relieve the problem so my pharmacist ordered a "device" that looked like something you would use with a broken finger. It helped, but was not comfortable to wear all the time. Doing some research, I found the Trigger Finger Solutions product. It is a small, foam based product that is easy to wear and comfortable in use. It did provide the ability to help the fingmer heal. That is the plus side! Issues: it stretches in time, so it slowly loses its ability to support a finger properly, and the cloth cover separates from the foam material base. So, in average use, no matter how careful you are, it lasts about three months - then you need another.
