My second issue is the hand pull strapping tensioner that is supplied with the kit. The instructions on the box on how to use it are incomprehensible and how it is suppose to work is a mystery to this retired mechanical engineer. Save your money and don't make the same mistake I have. Days later I'm back on desertcart.com looking to buy buckles that hold and a tensioner that works. Review: Lol it's a good price. but the tensioner is a joke - UPDATE: 12/2 Okay I guess I judged this thing too harshly. After actually going out there to strap stacks of cardboard together this thing works really well. And you don't need to exert as much force to tighten it as I thought. So it works perfectly well for my needs. This is 3000 feet which is gonna last me forever! Funny thing is.. there's a version of this for the same price that has steel buckles instead of plastic! But the plastic works fine too :) ORIGINAL REVIEW: So 3000 feet is pretty long. and you get plenty of buckles. But the tensioner is a joke pretty much. At first I couldn't figure out how to use it. It's not really a tensioner, it's basically something to hold the strap and you have to PULL with your hands to tighten the strap... So it's a "strap grabber", just so you don't have to hold the strap and pull it with your bare hands. There's a real strap tensioner kit on ebay, it's here on desertcart too altho 10 dollars more expensive coz of shipping. Anytime Tools Complete Packaging STRAPPING TOOL KIT + 400 Seals + 2 Banding Rolls 345 ft. Supply That's a real strapping kit.
