I use a Breville Barista Express, but the punched circles do not fit any of the stock baskets that came with my machine. They fit my aftermarket 53 mm baskets extremely well, so basket compatibility should be checked before purchasing. The punch feels solid and produces clean, consistent circles without tearing or leaving rough edges. The finished filters lay flat inside compatible baskets without curling or bunching, and using the punch is much easier than trying to cut circles by hand. The upfront cost is definitely higher than just buying premade espresso filters. The advantage is that the punch is reusable, and over time you are not stuck buying whatever paper quality, thickness, or brand happens to be available in premade circles. **Q: Can you see what you are punching out from above?  I need to be able to punch 24 circles out of a sheet - they are logo's.**
A: You turn it over and work using the bottom you can clearly see what you're punching and line it up perfectly

**Q: Would this work on plastic milk gallons?**
A: I don't think so. It is intended to be used on cardboard and  even if you use it on cardboard it shouldn't be too thick because  it is very difficult to get through. The tool is good  quality and works perfectly when used properly.

**Q: Can you see what you are punch out before you punch it? If I'm punching an image I would need to see if I'm over it correctly**
A: Yes, you can see the image and where you position the circle, by turning it over.  Then you can place it just where you need it. I love mine.  It is a great punch.

**Q: This says it cuts a scalloped circle but it shows a smooth one. Which is correct?**
A: I have both the scalloped and the smooth. Sometimes Amazons picture are incorrect. If you order a scalloped I will ship that one

Works great! Exactly what I need. I use this to cut " Incense Burner Holder Heat-resistan Insulating mat Round Cotton" which I also purchased from Amazon. I gives a nice, easy, clean cut. Also, it's pretty heavy duty and feels solid with a good weight to it.
