I despise e-waste so I ordered one of these adapters, ripped the guts out of one of the computers, found a way to bodge this adapter in, and presto! Now I have a perfectly good 24" FHD monitor, with sound. I wasn't able to get the touch screen function to work because the cable for my monitor absolutely would not fit the adapter, but that's no big deal.
