**Q: does this handle 12 inch size paper ?**
A: No, the guides only open to 11 3/4".

**Q: How much space is allowed for punching 300 pages? I have a project in mind.**
A: Not sure what the ?
Is asking. It’s a standard hole puncher just allowing for bigger jobs. Instead of taking a book apart it will put holes in the book. So 300  pages would be one job

**Q: What is the button on the flat deck for?**
A: Releases the side guide

**Q: Can you do a single punch?**
A: The punches are removable so if you were punching only one hole then remove the two outside punches and I would think this would work.
