Review: SImply works and is extremely reliable and easy to use - This unit is an ideal substitute for a genuine PLC with minor limitations due to its price point. The 7 channel, 12 bit analog inputs work well. One limitation that struck me however is that if you create a "PO Blocks" program and lose the source code, you cannot reverse-compile it from the unit itself, nor is the actual SOURCE code saved in any way to the controller (I know that the installed memory is limited, but I would have added more personally; memory is dirt cheap these days). This situation is also true for most other micro-controllers such as the plethora of Arduino class machines. The MODBUS emulation is fully functional and I use it a lot. As this unit only supports hardwired Ethernet, POE support would also be a great improvement for this device. In summary, this is a decent core for data acquisition and small PLC-type control logic emulation.
Review: crap - This piece of crap doesn't work, tried to connect it to mach3 to control a cnc, didn't work no matter how it was configured, i'm going back to ETHERNET SMOOTH STEPPER, pokeys sucks.

This unit is an ideal substitute for a genuine PLC with minor limitations due to its price point. The 7 channel, 12 bit analog inputs work well.
