No free gift came with my product, and given the way they packaged it there would not have been room to include one anyway.It is shipped in an average oversized yellowish/orangish envelope, the kind that is lined with bubble wrap. Inside the envelope is the pillow in a thin plastic. The packaging arrived torn, but the product was not damaged.The part of the pillow that protrudes to fit in the curvature of your neck is really nice. It's not too hard and not too soft, it's just perfect. Most pillows I've tried, the neck part is usually too hard or soft and the space for the neck is too wide, much bigger than the curvature of my neck would allow so it usually ends of hurting more than helping, but with this pillow the size is just right. However, the part where your head rests, it is harder, a little too hard than I'd like. If they made the head portion to be of the same density as the neck part, it'd be so much better for me. I don't like to rest my head on hard surfaces, it gives me a headache, but the head part of this pillow is not that bad.The pillow comes with a light blue pillow case already on the pillow and it is shaped just like the pillow. The pillow does make loud sounds as you move around on it, but it's because inside the pillowcase the pillow in encased in plastic.
