I saw a bunch of videos on youtube under the topic 'Plasti dip' and went on with my project so should you before starting yours. I recommend that you also watch videos on how to correctly use a spray can (pretty easy though). As it turned out, it had been a great experience for a rookie like me. The whole process with all the precaution I took gave a very clean result as you all can see. Here are some photos. Although after blowing a relatively small amount of money on DIY paint, I realize this one (Black, not matte black) will look good on alloys(all material types) and I would have to find a metallic one for that chrome mustache.The best thing is I did my project in one shot, no mess! This certainly compliments the user-friendliness of rubber paints.Some tips :#1 Try to use plastic sheets instead of tissues and newspapers (I know my setup was ugly and inefficient)#1.5 It is important that you leave an inch of a frame uncovered around your application area(see the photo embedded), so that you can grab and peel of the paint without hampering the desired applicant area.#2 Do at least 4 coats with a gap of 15 minutes amongst each.#3 Maintain a constant speed and distance between the nozzle and the object as you spray, do not change your angle midway.If you're still nervous, I would recommend you to try it on a small object before you go on with your main project.I will update this review after sometime to comment on its durability.Good luck! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality at affordable price! *by I***C on Reviewed in India on 13 February 2018* I was looking for rubber paint from a long time on Amazon and finally found this product. I was skeptical about buying it but after reading the positive reviews thought that I will take a chance.Other similar products like plasti-dip are imported from the US and are 3 times the price.I purchased the black paint to repaint my LS2 helmet and I was amazed by the quality and results of this rubber paint.Although I had to put 6-7 coats over intervals of 10-15 mins between each coat. The final result was fantastic.Few tips from my side for best results:1. Always clean the surface with soap water and wipe of dust and oil as paint will peel off over time if not bonded properly.2. Shake the can properly before 1st coat and then at each interval as the paint needs to mix with the thinner in the can to spread out evenly and dry faster.3. Use 1000 grit sandpaper over the surface before spraying as it will result in better adhesion.Attaching picture for reference. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Leaking can. *by S***R on Reviewed in India on 18 May 2018* UPDATE: The people from coating daddy have been quick to respond and have sent another can as replacement. Will use that and give a complete review, till then, 4 stars for swift action and a happy me.😊Old: The can i received was faulty, it started shooting droplets and leaked under the nozzle. Cant comment about the pain quality as i was able to use the paint much. Im giving it a star just for delivery, the product isn't the same colour as shown in the picture and its poor quality.
