When mounted it on the wall. how to adjust the mount to hold the iPad to the position where I wanted？

I use it as a tabletop holder, but to wall mount it, you install a "pocket" holder that the feet fold into. You still have the jointed arm to position the tablet and the rotation-tilt-pan at the head that clamps onto the tablet. You have up-down, tilt, side-to-side, and rotation movement on the wall mount and tabletop. While it turns side-to-side at the clamp head, the arm itself doesn't swing side to side.

Are there extra wall mounts for purchase?

The stand comes with three wall mounts for use elsewhere - not sure if you can purchase extra mounts over and above these - you would have to contact AboveTek directly.
