When I opened the box, it was filled with ants. The ants quickly disbursed thoughout my kitchen.I think the product needs to be wrapped better. When I ordered the 15 bar package, the box came sealed. With this variety pack, the bars were tossed into a box, and sent on their way. In summer months, I would recommend better, sealed, packaging.I would not recommend the variety pack for this reason only. Don't really provide anything except convenience with the unusual low sugar, high protein combination, but at almost $5 a bar it is not worth it. It is not even a meal replacement as it does not provide enough of anything to call it a meal, so for a snack...too much $$ for not enough of anything. Very dry & gritty, like most soy protein items.
