It took a while to germinate the first time—probably because I didn’t do much soil prep, just spread the seeds on top, and the weather was cold for a couple of weeks. Once the temperature warmed up, it started growing much faster. On my second try, I tested a smaller patch and did a few things differently: I lightly covered the seeds with a thin layer of soil and watered twice a day. The instructions suggested watering up to four times daily, but I didn’t have time for that—twice a day still worked really well. It sprouted within a week and looked great.
