Review: Generally this is a good product. - I have used quite a few of these over the last couple of years and they have generally worked very well lasting 3-4 weeks with my filtration system and ending up very brown in colour so clearly filtering effectively. However there does seem to be an issue with quality control. I only gave 3 stars because I have received several rolls that didn't look new, the packaging was ripped and they seemed to be smaller than usual suggesting they had less filter medium on them. Also every so often I get a roll that doesn't work very well. For example the one I just put in lasted less than a week before it had completely transferred onto the used roller and it was still virtually white having taken very few particles out of the water. I wondered if there was a fault with my filter system but the new roll I have on now is working fine so I can only conclude it was a dodgy roll. At £22.99 this may not be the end of the world but if you add up the 5 times there has been an issue with a roll that's nearly £114 wasted. That said this is the only roll that fits my filter system so I will continue to use it.
