I was drawn into the personal lives of the characters and kept reading to the end to find out how they would endure the trials that they faced, whether the two sides of the story would meet again and how all their lives would ultimately be shaped by the after-effects of the original impulsive act.

I found this book to be unputdownable! Being a mother and knowing what unconditional love is, made it very real.
