Review: Perfect for pouring reclaimed silver for rolling into sheets - I love using the graphite molds for reclaiming my scrap silver and bronze. I keep separate molds for each metal I'm reclaiming - I have little organizer boxes with the mold and the crucible for each and have them labeled on the end of the box. These are the perfect size for this, and for pouring an ingot that will be rolled into a sheet. I'm sure some folks will use these for making silver stacks as they're deep enough to make a sizable ingot. The graphite is hard and smooth but could be carved a little using the right burs. This set is a good value as it costs the same as the single mold I have that has smaller wells (that don't roll out as easily to larger sheets since the ingots start out thicker. I'd say the quality is good - I have no complaints from the few times I've used them and they seem to be holding up very well. Just like anything else, don't drop it, store it properly, and it'll last.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Broke very easily, careful of the humidity

I'm not a smelter (if that is the term), but my buddy does smelting at his forge, and we are working on some prototypes so I thought these would be a good way for him to teach me how to cast metal. He looked at these and said "no". He isn't a man of a lot of words, but it seemed a little terse. He eventually explained that it was too humid in his workshop that day to use graphite molds. So I've been waiting for a not so humid day. Finally, we gave up and did the best we could. The first attempt broke the mold. The second attempt seemed to be going well. When he removed the ingot, he was a little concerned. He said there was some ashing, but on closer examination, he thought it was the graphite from the mold. He suggested it might have been caused by a steam pocket. The third attempt was with some scrap copper he had. It came out the best, but the mold cracked when he demolded it. We didn't try the fourth. He did like how that ingot released and looked. In his opinion, these were made okay, but the environment of the forge wasn't ideal for them, and with them being so fragile, they would only last at most a handful of castings in a perfect environment.
