## Description

The 115L is constructed to resist saltwater corrosion. Precision machined gears and spool spindles are stainless steel while spool and other external metal is chrome-plated brass. Star drag is easily adjusted to the reaction of a fish and special heat resistant brake lining discs dissipate heat & prevent lock-up. The 115L features black anodized, forged aluminum spools that help reduce weight and prevent corrosion. Line Capacity: 675 yds/50lb. Ratio: 2.5:1 Desc. 9/0.

**Q: Is this reel made in the USA an NOT China**
A: the 115l2 is made in china but is still a freakin awsome reel maybe not as much as the older usa ones but you gotta remember that it has upgraded gears better than the older ones that are 10-20-30+ years old when they used brass, brass wears down under load and the new bronze mix is alot harder, but you can get the newer gears for the old usa ones too BUT the 116l and 117l are USA made but cost 300+$ so either way your getting a very good reel , if you have 40-600$ to fork out then buy an avet or an international, just my 0.02

**Q: i am going to buy the 115l2, how much 100lb braided line do you think would be the capacity?**
A: The truth is you don't really need 100lb braided for these reels.  I just went fishing and the reel couldn't hold its drag with 80lb mono on a grouper.  They are decent reels for medium size fish that you can catch with 50 to 60lb braided.  The 100lb braided are for the higher end reels.

**Q: Is this a 116L model? Why 800 yds of 80 and others 116L are 1100 yds of 80?**
A: Actually sold to a kid I knew thing sucked I just wanted to get my money back from it I wouldn't buy it again

**Q: is the middle frame peice graphite or metal**
A: If you mean middle of each side, it is resin. If you mean the chromed pieces they are metal.
