Best not to even go there.The solution was to use six M2 10mm bolts, with washers and nuts, which makes a perfectly secure fit, sliding through without damage to the mounting....and more importantly, the heads safely clearing all PCB components.More disconcerting was the vertical wobble, even if the Mega 2560 is not fitted with a shield. The mount does not sit quite vertical.
