It works as indicated, I needed to be able to have powered USB and this adapter allowed for it. It does not get hot as other I have used and charges my mp3 as if it was connected directly to the charger.It is small enough to take it with me and does not create clutter around the desk

    Surface Book 2 with 2 external monitors

Works as advertised. Out of all the hubs and docks I have tried for the Surface Book 2, this one was by far the easiest to use. Just plug and play. It should be instant.Few things to note:1. The product description specifies that the Surface Book 2 and this hub will only support 1 external monitor. It is possible to have 2 external monitors hooked up, but both monitors will show the same thing. If you're looking for a USB-C hub that can support 2 external monitors to show 2 different screens on Surface Book 2, this will not work.2. It does get warm, but hot tub warm at about 104 degrees Fahrenheit.3. The cord USB-C cord is 6 inches long. Might or might not be okay for you.Rating 4 stars instead of 5 simply because of the inability to have 2 external monitors with 2 different screens.Will be using for travel and guests hooking up ethernet, but not for my main set up at home.
