The ingredient list only reads a generic 'spices' but nothing specific.** A: I specifically use pro boil because it does not contain msg. I am highly sensitive to msg and pro boil is one of the only boils I can use. **Q: How much would I need to do a boil in a 42 quart pot?** A: If you are using a 42 qt pot then im assuming that you will only be boiling about 15lbs of crawfish. A Pro Boil is usually made for 1 sack of crawfish (which is about 35lbs). Half of the Pro Boil should work depending upon how spicy you want it and how much other "good's" you have going in there. Also the longer you soak the crawfish in the pot after boiling the more seasoning they will absorb and the spicier they will be. Also remember that as you boil more batches, they will get spicier as you add more seasoning. **Q: Is this basically the same as the regular crab boil from Zatarain? http://www.amazon.com/Zatarains-Pre-Seasoned-Crab-Shrimp-Ounce/dp/B009K6RAO4/** A: This guy is a bit spicier with more seasoning in it.
