And I have no doubt they can also do the job. But after installing the Genasun GVB-8-Pb-36v-WP charge controller I'm so happy to have spent all that time researching MMPT Boost controllers. The Boost controller that I had my eye on was only $35 and only after hours of watching reviews I chose the Genasun GVB Boost controller at almost 6 times the price. One of the few anything that is "Made in USA" and worth my hard earned money. The Genasun is sooo sooo quiet, no fans or transformer humming in this rig with just a simple blinking of the lights to indicate status charge. Installed at the same time as my 2 - 100W solar panels it quietly charged the 36V lead acid batteries from 24V 200w panels in about 6 hours. Mounted under the seat exposed to the bottom carriage I also opted for the Water Proof version. It's completely sealed. Instructions were easy to understand and follow and seemingly built specifically for my solar panels to power my golf cart. FYI - the Genasun also comes with a 5 year warranty. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works. *by J***N on July 14, 2023* I tried two different cheaper solar charge controllers that didn't work on my 36v golf cart. This one works. Wish I would have just bought this to start with. Hooked it up super simple. Now it keeps my cart full charge anytime I need it. No more plugging the cart into a wall outlet. I put a 250watt solar panel on the roof of the cart. Works perfectly.
