I had planned on using them on a old Delta band saw I have (it only had a lame toggle) and another on a 1950 Craftsman Planner. The band saw is 110 and the planner 220, so I needed a switch that could do both...these could. The price was very reasonable and I thought I would try it. One of the switches was missing one screw for the electrical but that wasn't a problem I just used that one on my 110 so I didn't need it. So far very happy with the Band saw switch much safer and at knee height in case I get into trouble and need to hit it. I will mount the planner one the same height and will update this post as to my success or failure with that one. But as of right now I would reccomend these switches to anyone who wants a safer switch that is well made and seems like it will last a lifetime. ### ⭐⭐ Seems flimsy- there are better options *by D***K on Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2010* I was a little disappointed when I opened this box, saw and then picked up this switch. It seems a little flimsy and in checking the function of the stop paddle, it seemed to not operate smoothly. I have not mounted or wired this switch up- it's getting returned. I have a similar style switch that I ordered through Sears for my table saw. For the extra $10-15, I think that switch is a better option. The MLCS case is all plastic whereas the one from Sears has a steel plate on the back. It should hold up longer and make mounting easier. For a switch that is going to get turned off by bumping with my thigh, I have doubts as to how long the plastic case would last. Even the stop paddle seems flimsy in comparison.If you're interested in the other switch, it's a part on this saw: 152221240.Or try this: [...] ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy To Install And Works Great *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2012* The Switch is easy to install - had my table saw's switch go belly-up on me - (Switch Was Only 35 Years Old) - mounted this switch on the front leg with a few screws - (Supplied) - cut the cord wired it in -(Has Cord Support Nuts)- and works great. I like this switch because it disconnects both hot & neutral wires - has grounding / bonding lug inside the plastic box. The stop button is about four inches diameter which, will make it easy to push. Would recommend for anyone using fixed based machinery. Switch is rated for 110 volt and 240 volt Single Phase.
