Review: I wish that the inserts and the out of the box were sold together, not separately - I first only ordered the inserts where the cones hold, but I never ordered the box. The boxes is awesome. Review: Great for the odds and ends - I have been hunting for quite some time for a way to store my smaller odds and ends items like cell phone charges, auxiliary cords, USB cables, etc & I actually found this one as a recommendation from a You tube video. The bin shipped very quickly and when it arrived, I could not be happier with my purchase. This is an incredible way to keep those smaller items organized that tend to be misplaced in one compact location and with the overall size, this bin can actually it can hold A LOT of items! No more tangled charger cords or missing flash drives, or anything smaller that you don't want to misplace. This is definitely a must when it comes to organization. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this bin- the individual compartments are nice and deep and the dividers meet the lid when it is closed, so in the event it is tipped over, nothing falls into the next compartment like some of the cheaper storage bins. The plastic is fairly heavy duty and the locking clamps keep your items closed securely with easy to see through clear plastic sides. The only negatives I have, if I had to say there were any at all, are that the surface of the plastic dividers are a very smooth plastic- too smooth for the labels for my label maker to adhere to- which wasn't too big of an issue, I just ending up using clear packing tape to go across them so doesn't really take away from the quality, it was just a minor set back. I do wish, however, that if you use multiple compartments for one item, that the extra dividers would slip down into the bottom of the compartment or something so that you can store them inside the bin for future use. Other than that- this bin is a great buy and I would highly recommend it for smaller item storage of any kind. I'm thinking of getting a thin (1/4" thick) sheet of soft foam rubber to glue to the underside of the lid, as I think this solution would make the seal impenetrable when the lid is closed and latched. The other issue I have is getting my big hands to the bottom of the deep compartments to get to the little Lego pieces out, but my kids don't have this problem. Otherwise this is probably the best thing out there for sorting and storing Legos. **Q: Does anyone know the interior height? I'd swear these are good for organizing EVERYTHING! (I think I may have put the kitchen sink in the one where I put my kitchen stuff!) Seriously, though, I've got my electronics tools in one and the parts in another. I have my sewing supplies in one, my husband's sewing supplies are in another. (MUST PROTECT my sewing scissors from him! I caught him trying to cut sticks with them!!!) I keep my supplement bottles in one. I have 2 as part of our indoor first aid kit, one as our travel first aid kit, and one as our animal's travel first aid kit. There's a few doing duty for fiber arts supplies, and one doing duty storing beading products. We have one storing rehab equipment for my husband, after he suffered from an incident with a table saw and needed to learn how to use his hands again. Then there's a few others floating around doing who knows what else! My oldest model has been with me for over 30 years. The first ones I bought from this seller have been with me for over 5 years and are doing great! The ones I bought last year have all taken up jobs and they are holding up fantastically, too.
