The CRAFTSMAN 9 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac, featuring a 4.25 Peak HP motor, is great for home renovations or home emergencies. Equipped with one of the most powerful motors our compact vacs have to offer, the 9-gallon shop vac is great for general garage cleaning, basement cleanup from flooding or seepage, as well as, removing water from clogged sinks. With an extra-large drain, liquids can be emptied quickly and easily from the tank. The Qwik Lock Filter Fastening System allows for quick and easy wet dry vacuum filter changes. Store this wet dry vac with ease. On-board hose storage, plus accessory and power cord organizers help eliminate unneeded hassle and reduce overall storage space. *Gallons indicated reflect drum volume, not necessarily collection capacity, actual capacity dependent upon type of debris collected, condition of filter and other factors. Peak horsepower represents a level at or below the maximum horsepower output of an electric motor tested in a laboratory using a dynamometer.

The day after this vac arrived, the soffit over my patio popped loose and insulation spilled out. I was able to use this vac to get it up. I did have to order another package of bags since this one only comes with one bag. My advice is to stock up before you need to. Overall I'm pleased. The quality is good and the power is better.

**Q: Wet vac mode leaks water out the back where the black molding meets the red. Does anyone know how to stop this?**
A: Craftsman will replace it if its defective. If its older, flex seal liquid or glue.

**Q: My vacuum didn’t come with screws for the handle. Where can I get the correct ones?**
A: Mine didn’t either and I can’t get a hold of anyone to help me at Craftsman.  What screws can we use?

Thanks for your question! You can order by calling Carroll Parts at 1-800-654-3545. If it’s the utility nozzle with the wide mouth, the part number is CMXZVBE38676 which should be included in the package of your vac. This nozzle will work with different floors.

I'm very pleased with the performance of this shop vac from Craftsman. The suction was much more powerful than expected. Assembly was easy. The wheels snapped in snugly and will not come out. The handle, however, lacked screws to attach it. I hope nothing else was missing from the box that I was unaware of. The cord is long enough for most purposes. The size is perfect for what I intended it for - cleaning out the garage. The day after this vac arrived, the soffit over my patio popped loose and insulation spilled out. I was able to use this vac to get it up. I did have to order another package of bags since this one only comes with one bag. My advice is to stock up before you need to. Overall I'm pleased. The quality is good and the power is better.

this things a dawg vacuums pretty good every attachment sucks besides the small rectangle one but super convinant to have dry and wet vac for this price
