**Q: What is the outside demention of the raised portion?**
A: The inner diameter is 4" and the outer diameter is 6-5/8"

**Q: Will this fit 6 inch stove pipe?**
A: this is designed to fit 6 5/8 inch outside dimension Duravent  direct vent pipe.
It fits that pipe exactly.
If you are using any other type pipe you should measure its outside dimension.
If your pipe is 6 5/8 inch or less it will fit , but you may have a slight gap around the pipe.

**Q: Will this work for a double wall wood stove pipe?**
A: Yes, that I what I am using it for.

**Q: Will this work for Napalean stoves that say 4x7"?  Seems like 4x6 5/8 and 4x7" are close to the same thing?**
A: Just confirming that the pope measures 7”? Some companies say its 7” and its actually 6 5/8.  My pipe was 6 5/8 and fit perfect.  If your pipe is truly 7” I don’t think it will fit.
