It is such a relief not to have a trailing cord. It does the 800 sq ft of trafficked areas of our house in about 15 minutes and there is still juice left in the battery. We have rugs at the doors, hardwood floors elsewhere. And the button for switching between rug and bare floor is very convenient. I took a chance on this refurbished model and it arrived packaged as if brand new. Saved a bundle and everything works fine. The only downside is pulling all of the dog hair from the bristles after vacuuming.
