It may look like the pliers are similar, but there is an internal and external version for both the straight and bent tip pliers, 4 total. They come in a very nice zippered case which make these easy to store.I don't work with snap rings all the time, but when I do, it's a hassle to try and pry them off with a screwdriver or needle nose pliers and putting them on is even worse. This set seems to be good quality. The handles are comfortable and the pliers worked well for the rings I tested. I only have inner snap rings I was able to test for now, and these pliers work well. The angled pliers are great for tight areas, and the finish on them grips the rings fairly well.I'm not sure I would recommend these for daily professional use, but it's possible you could use these every day and they would never break. As long as they aren't abused, they should last a long time and they do feel fairly solid to me, especially for tools that probably won't be abused like other pliers tend to be. I cannot stress how much of a help these pliers are when you need them to remove circlips and snap rings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't use these often, but need to have the right tool *by V***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2020* I only had one snap ring plier -- which I like better than these because you squeeze it to close but it is spring loaded (so you let go after inserting into snap ring holes) and it is strong enough to hold in place, then you apply some pressure to pull the ring off.I got this set because I needed a larger size (my previous tool works great but is too small for some rings). This is a nice set with straight and 90 deg pliers, but they are all manual. I give it a 4/5 because they really could have improved this set by making them all spring loaded. As they are you have to manually pull them apart which is NOT a natural hand movement and really cannot be done with one hand easily if it requires a lot of force. That while sometimes being in an awkward position. (In my case working on tractor).I do like that the set includes a very nice zipper closed bag that will keep them dust/dirt free in my barn. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 7 Inch 4 Piece Box Joint Internal and External Medium to Large Snap Ring Pliers Set with Case *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2020* I received this product in exchange for my honest review as part of the Amazon Vine Program. Seller Brand: KangTeer lists this as "Retaining Ring Pliers KangTeer 7 inch 4pcs Professional Snap Ring Pliers Internal External Ring Remover Retaining Circlip Pliers". Picture 1 shows the 4 pliers (2 right angled tip pliers, 2 with straight tips) in the zippered case. I loved the box joint construction that works smoothly with no side play together with the vinyl padded handles for a good grip on these pliers. Circlip snap rings can be a challenge to remove; these will work for internal or external rings if they are not too tiny. The tip size is appropriate when I'm doing most automotive tasks but not for small, tiny computer/electronic (laser printers for example) circlips. MAKE SURE you use a face shield - EYE protection is a MUST - as a spring ring/circlip can fly off the pliers and hit you with damaging force. The unpolished on purpose plier ends help preserve a bit of ring retaining roughness. The pliers have spring equipped handles as they should. These go into my tools for the next time I need them.
