Very easy to read infomation
This is a very well made rain/temperature gauge.Information on the face is easy to read & follow.I have another raing gauge from a different maker& I prefer this one even though they both read the same.I recommend this as a good starter for someone interestedIn monitoring rain etc.David G Robinson

The rain gauge transmitter keeps working unlike most cheaper models.
This appears to be well constructed and the Outdoor temperature transmitter is separate from the ring gauge so that it can be placed in the shade and it seems as though the record for the rain gauge is stored in the base unit even after the batteries are changed is

Very happy after 12 months use
I bought this TFA product last Christmas and it has now been running for exactly 1 year. The batteries for all three components lasted the entire 12 months which I was happy about, but changed them today to start the new year. I located the temperature monitor inside my garden shed and so it has given me a good idea of what the temperature will be like outside. For sure the 'see-saw' rain monitoring mechanism cannot be super-accurate (this was made clear in the product description) and leads to an underestimate of the actual rainfall, but it has certainly given me a proportional readout of the rainfall levels compared with a professional weather station a few miles away. Monitoring inside (kitchen) and outside (shed) temperature as well as rainfall has given me a lot of fun this year and I am very happy with the product and recomend it to others.
