Anti-Theft Heritage Hobo Bag

I don’t usually write product reviews but felt that this one was a must! I have been using this purse for about a month now and absolutely love it. I don’t carry a ton of stuff —- usually reading glasses, sun glasses, hand sanitizer, keys, phone, AirPods, wallet, and reusable bag, and while that sounds like a lot, I have a flat wallet and a reusable grocery bag that folds into the size of a dollar bill. With that said, this purse isn’t going to be for everyone. It’s not a big purse, unless you’re used to a clutch. While it fits all of my stuff comfortably, someone who carries larger items (such as a makeup bag, book, camera, or large wallet) may want to reconsider. The opening at the top of the main pocket is pretty narrow and navigating a larger item out around your other belonging may be a tight squeeze. But if you are like me and keep to the essentials only, this purse is great. The purse looks and feels sturdy. While some reviews say that it is too heavy, I honestly don’t think it is at all; especially if you are used to the size and weight of a standard hobo or satchel purse. I am 6’0 tall and the longer strap is long enough to wear as a cross body without even being fully extended. The strap is very comfortable and does it slip, even when only on one shoulder. The Material adds a lot of support to the bag so it does not slump over, which is pretty impressive for a canvas-style purse. Like some reviewers, I removed the white Travelon label from the front of the bag by carefully tearing the stitching, leaving only the leather patch behind it — I felt that the white label made the bag look a little tacky, so roving it really helped the look. The various pockets are sized perfectly — like I said earlier, I use a flat wallet which fits nicely in the front RFID pocket. With the exception of my phone, everything else I keep in the larger center pocket, and my phone stays in the area on the back of my purse. Since using this bag, I have never struggled finding things in my purse and feel that everything feels really organized. Overall, I think this is the perfect purse. While it isn’t huge, I think the size is perfect for someone who doesn’t carry everything but the kitchen sink with them. The bag is cute but still looks and feels sturdy. The pockets make your bag look and feel organized. And the Travelon protections (RFID, slash proof, water resistance, and locking zippers) give reassurance that your items are 100% safe. Highly recommend this bag to anyone who needs a go-to everyday purse!

I travel a lot, therefore I am quite picky when I choose the bag that I will relay on during the time I will be away. First I am looking for the " friendliness " of the bag, and yes, there is such a thing as an annoying companion even if it is an object. Then the size and then the price. But look, I am holding everything of importance in the bag and the bag is with me all the time, so yah I am looking for a friendly companion. I want my bag to stay on my shoulder, to balance comfortable when I move, not to scratch my hand with the zipper when I reach in, and to to force me into a war when I want to put something in. Well, this Travelon Anti-Theft Heritage Hobo is really nice and friendly. Is made of thick but soft canvas, so it does not have that nylon feel. It looks ready for adventure in a rugged but not overly sporty. You can wear it on the shoulder or over the body and it stays put balanced perfectly. The zippers are not attacking you when you reach in and there is no need to struggle to put things in or to take them out. Now about the size : is about perfect. You can put in a kindle , an I pad air, a travel organizer with with your passport ,a small camera, your " plus" size phone, chargers, make- up. and you still have room to play with ... and that is the main compartment only !There is another secured compartment in front that can hold your wallet and keys and whatever you use more often but need to be secured from wondering hands, in the back of the bag there is yet another compartment that can hold a book easily, a map , sunglasses, napkins, even an compact umbrella. I have the Pewter color and is quite pleasant, the insides are a nice material that does not get dirty easily and more important , is not of a color that makes you cringe when you look inside, because frankly "pink" is way overrated and other pastel colors are good for luggage. This is a bag .What I like the most about it is the way is compartmented and how practical it is , the size and feel and even the color. I would have liked the possibility of another material beside the canvas, but I think that I would have chosen the canvas anyway . I give it five stars !

I liked the safety features of this travel on bag, the locking zippers and super strong strap. I liked the style of the bag and it was easy to fit my small wallet, large, sunglasses iPhone, 15 promax, two lipsticks plus a Chapstick, a comb and a pill bottle. Unfortunately I had to return this bag because the canvas is just a little bit too heavy for me to carry around all day while we are traveling in Europe next month. That said it is a great bag and has a lot of style. I would recommend it if you do not mind a fairly heavy bag across your body

Good size for travelling. Material is thick and sturdy. I like the locking mechanism on the zippers. I felt very secure when using the bag on my trip to Italy. The material was also water resistant. Stayed dry during a rain shower even though the material is like a cloth.

Perfect for traveling and everyday! Sturdy but comfortable as a crossbody. Everything is safe and secure, great organization! Strap adjusts easily, wipes clean with damp cloth , and holds everything I need plus extra room!

Not used yet, having purchased for travelling in the summer. But the size and weight is great, the zippers simple enough to use, not too big so it won’t get overfilled but will be plenty of room for water bottle, first aid pouch, fold up waterproof jacket, sunglasses and power bank for phone. Quality and feel of bag is great and it doesn’t look too “new anti theft bag” in this fabric. Love it.

This bag is an ok bag however it hasn’t lasted 12 months without the bag fraying at the zips which is a letdown because I thought this bag would have been more durable
