Great pencils!
I love these! Such a great eco friendly alternative! Also so satisfying to sharpen!! I will definitely stick to these over other pencils! Though I would love an option without the plastic sharpner, I do not need it.

Great eco pencils
Lovely pencils that don’t break when sharpening. I gave these to pupils and they loved that they were being eco. My only gripes are: these are soft pencils hence need frequent sharpening so won’t last so long; the newspaper print on some pencils appear to have faded. Nevertheless, these are worth their cost, in my opinion. I have now ordered the coloured pencils.

Great pencils but it will jam up an electric sharpener.

Better than a normal pencil!
Bought as a gift for my other half who loves sketching out plans, he loves them and says he will buy these over the normal staedler ones he normally buys. Great value and quality.

I thought these may be gimmicky, but they are great- lovely to sharpen and great to write with - becoming a firm favourite!

Shame about the plastic sharpener
Lovely concept and nice product, but one problem... it comes with a plastic sharpener!! This kind of defeats the purpose of me buying it in the first place. I love the idea of newspaper pencils - i give them as rewards to my students, but I'm looking for another brand that comes without plastic
