AC InfinityAir Carbon Filter 8" with Premium Australian Virgin Charcoal, for Inline Duct Fan, Odor Control, Hydroponics, Grow Rooms

First let me say that I,personally,have no dislikes about this product. The quality of this filter is outstanding. Looks so good I hated to cover it with the prefilter which is also a quality product btw. My old unit was a 4” cheap unit which did work kinda. It would blow air but at about 5’ with to gradual bends in the hose you could barely feel any air coming out. The old filter never could keep up with smell. I have a 4x4x6.5 growtent. I did think it was going to be a bit small but figured I’d save some money. Well you do get what you pay for a lot of times and that was no exception. Live and learn and learn I did. I did my research and for the price and what all I read I decided on acinfinity. I also decided to filter the tent but also the room it stands it which is a 10x11’x7’t room hence why I went with the 8” filter and fan. I have the filter and fan in the tent and within a few minutes the smell was gone and my tent runs a few degrees cooler than before. I’ve been running it now for couple weeks at least and it has been truest amazing how well this works. I do believe when the time comes for a replacement filter I’ll be buying another one of these with no hesitation.

It makes 0 dB, but the fan u choose will determine that. So far, 2to3months,it controls odors, or provides clean air well. I can't say how long it will last, but it is a reasonable price. With the black Pre filter, it looks pretty nice, and that same covering is easy to wash, and keep clean, if you want. Effective, thus far.

Product was terribly damaged filter had puncture in it. You can zoom in on the photo and see it. Waiting to see what company will do to satisfy an in happy customers who spent a ton of money through them on multiple products. Quality control is your best friend, I would invest in some. The Amazon box was undamaged so the filter was clearly damaged before it was even packed. I'm intrigued how they will pay back the time wasted just to deal with this, when all could have been avoided from the fulfillment of the product it's self. Will be testing soon, and will update with response when I get one.Updated review: after talking to customer care which was a little difficult through Amazon, but when I did get through. They worked very quick to replace my order. I sent them pics of the filter that was damaged and the had a new one out with in 48hrs. Told me to keep they old one they don't want it back. Assuming company's do this so they don't have to throw away they're own trash. No worries. All in all, they were very helpful. Will be doing future business with them. I also recommend all do as well. The products are as advertised and quiet.

Massive. I bought it with a matching ACI exhaust fan just to scrub the lung room when in there with the tent open. Ended up placing it inside the tent to help more from leakage. It has helped some but not nearly what I expected from nearly 800cfs and the size which comes with extra expense. It's been running a few weeks now so not sure on longevity. I will say my ACI carbon filters haven't lasted as long as I expected. The 6" that is feeding from tent to attic stopped filtering well after only 3 months in the same grow this is in now. I've had better lifespan from cheaper brands but like the build quality and ACI ecosystem (for most things). I'll eventually crack it open to see I can replace the carbon or have to grab a made to be refilled one.

Very good and durable filter, not loud at all.

Use Reverse Osmosis (RO) or distilled water when using this carbon air filter if using a humidifier in your grow tent or the same room. Otherwise, the filter will clog with aerosolized minerals and be useless within a few months. Then your inline fan runs hard (and hot) to pull air through a clogged filter. I bought two filters from AC Infinity before I researched and learned this fact. Learn from my mistake. AC Infinity fails to mention that happens with carbon filters.
