Wow! These are amazing for my low back pain. The generous size covers a very large area. They begin to work within minutes and last a solid 8 hours. These help my pain go from from severe (8/10) to minimal (2/10) without the use of stomach-irritating pain relievers. Smell is minimal and tolerable. May seem pricey at 3 patches per box but for all -day pain relief, these are well worth it. We always keep a box on hand for the 2-3 x year we need them. They are a bit tricky to apply, best to have some help. Can also be cut into smaller sizes, just cut a slit in the top to help with peeling. Make sure you apply to clean and dry skin and smooth it out while applying a bit of pressure to help it adhere better. Hold it in place with a fitted tee tucked under your clothes.

I really like using these patches when my lower back starts bothering me. They are easy to apply and stay in place well. The menthol provides a nice cooling and warming sensation that helps ease the discomfort. A very convenient option for temporary pain relief.

Amazing product! I have neck and back pain. Using these, I'm able to do things. I cut them into smaller strips, so I'm able to get more manageable sizes and they last longer. Better than Salonpas! They also have roll on, spray and cream. These are awesome! Highly recommend!

Love the cooling these patches give! Gives me the relief I’m looking for when my back starts to hurt, when my knee is aching. I don’t like the other patches that you can’t feel cooling! I will continue buying these over other brands. The size of these are perfect for a large area.

Great pain relief!! Does the job!

I use these a lot, and they are way better than the ones with lidocaine that cost so much more. They got me through a 15.5 hour flight from LAX to Melbourne when the outlet would not power my heating pad. They got me through Oogie Boogie Bash. And they get me through times when I can't bring my special pillows or heating pad. Just snap as the directions indicate, and they are easy to apply. I find removal can be an issue if they haven't been on very long because they are still quite sticky, but running some water on them helps quite a lot. From my experience, they start working in a few minutes, and they last strongly for about three hours. They are mild for about two more hours, and after that, I don't really notice anything. I have a spinal injury from being rear-ended, and the pain is constant, so I've tried a lot of things in the last 15 years. I also like that these are in a resealable pouch that can easily be tucked in a purse or maybe even a pocket, so you can take them on the go.

XL good size, treats a large area. Sticks well , not much smell. Lasts a long time, soothed my hamstring on low back. Would recommend. Keep some on hand now just in case.

I bought this expecting three boxes (3 count as labelled in product description and as shown in the product images) but only received 1 box with 3 patches inside - instead of 3 boxes each with 3 patches inside. Quite frankly, $18 for 1 box of icy hot with just 3 patches is really ridiculous. Reading through these reviews, I see this is a consistent problem with this product - some people get 3 boxes with 9 patches total and other gets 1 box with just 3 patches total.
