Worked great. Solved my problem sealing threaded PVC connections. I had tried tape for years, with intermittent success. LASCO, a manufacturer of threaded PVC pipe, has a detailed article on why not to use tape. Somehow I overlooked the recommendation to use a sealant. When I finally noticed, I couldn’t find the product at my local hardware stores. I got some now.

Had a leaking connection when I installed a water filter. Couldn’t get it to seal. This did...first try.
