I just tested the product at home to see if works, drank 5 shots 80proof in 30 min. waited 30 min., took the test, followed exact instruction - did not turn green, defective ... the .02 was a lighter yellow. How is someone suppose to decide if over limit if the shade change is so faint? I am sorry but green is green , a faint yellow shade change is not green. You are taking a huge risk if you depend on this product, just try showing a police office this test after you blow .06+, yet the tube shows no green but just a faint yellow. They likely will be laughing all the way to the station. Never got a DUI or DWI, and want to keep it that way - but will not risk on trusting this product.

Awesome investment
Cheap way for a super accurate reading. Don't have to worry about some fancy device, and it only tells you if you blow it- so you don't have friends trying to blow some extravagant number. Buy these for you and those you care about!Just break it, shake it, blow for 12 seconds, and wait a minute. If the orange grains turn green- don't drive! If not, you *should be able to go.*These ones are .05- so just because you pass that doesn't mean you still couldn't get in trouble.

Impossible to follow instructions - Blow HARD for 12 seconds?
I bought these in a drug store. It requires you to blow HARD for 12 seconds. One breath - not two. Go ahead try it. I dare you. I am a swimmer with pretty above-average lung capacity. I can't do it. I can exhale for 12 seconds, but not "hard" for 12 seconds. This thing does not have much resistance. Make an OK sign with your thumb and index finger with the opening the size of a dime. Try blowing HARD through that for 12 seconds. It's impossible.

Great to use, especially if you're about to get in a car. I will obviously not drink a lot before driving, but I do use these as an extra precaution.

Easy to use and reliable disposable breathalyzers. I know because I tested it. Here in Perú, the driving alcohol limit is 0.05%. Arrived right on schedule.
