Fun toy! But the wires from the battery pack have ripped out.
My 9-year-old son received this for Christmas, and with a bit of help from an adult and practice, he has really gotten the hang of it and thoroughly enjoys it. Unfortunately the battery pack/connector is very difficult to unplug for charging and 2 days ago the wires ripped out from the battery pack/connector. My son is so heartbroken! We are hopeful that we will be receiving a response soon from the sellers and that we can somehow send this back for repair or replacement. I will post an update as soon as I hear from them.

Good helicopter, bad design for charging
The helicopter works great! Unfortanately they have the worst design I've ever seen for charging the battery. The battery must be disconnected and plugged directly into the charge chord which is easier said than done. I won't let my kids charge it without my help for fear of them ripping the wires right out of the battery pack. Why wouldn't they make it simpler. Anyway, it hasn't been played with as much as it could because of this single issue.

Nephews love them, but wish batteries lasted longer.
I bought 2 of these for my nephews for Christmas. It was a little difficult and frustrating for them to begin with, but after a couple of days practice, they have become quite expert. People and puppies nearby should expect their head to be buzzed now!! Battery life is VERY limited (under 15 minutes) and so far I have ben unable to locate extra batteries of the same size.

Batteries??
Just an FYI.....I'm just about to wrap this up for my nephew and no where on the box does say what batteries are required....nor does it say on this Amazon info page. The box is sealed up so I don't want to open it as it wouldn't appear to be new. I'm sure it takes either AA or AAA so I hope I remember to bring some along!

No Battery, REALLY!?!....
The battery necessary to fly the copter was not included in the brand new version I purchased. So I ordered another brand new version and this one came without the battery, as well even thought it is listed as an included part. I called customer service for the manufacturer who told me it was not their responsibility if someone removed the battery from the box (this was BRAND NEW) and after two failed attempts to get the manufacturer to provide the battery that was listed as being included, I decided to return the toy. I was and am beyond disappointed with the toy, and more importantly, the manufacturer. I will never buy another item they manufacture due to their POOR customer service

Recommended Age Incorrect!
Although this may be a great toy, the description states the Manufacturer recommended age: 3 years and up (that is a copy and paste from the product page). I ordered 2, one for a 3 year old and a one for a 5 year old. When they arrived, it is clearly stated on the box that this toy is for kids 14 years and older. Super disappointing.

Its very lite and not heavy the issue is if ...
Its very lite and not heavy the issue is if you outdoor and especially its windy then you cant fly this very high it will disappear in you house roof top or bushes or trees

Pilot Error
Worked great. Packaged very well and delivered promptly. Deserves 5 stars, however, on the initial test flight it flew away and was never seen again. Totally operator error. The quadcopter worked... my 5 year old grandson apparently didn't. Suggest you try your first solo indoors.
