Chris King used to be my go to BB, not anymore, significantly less friction pedaling, time will tell how good the sealing but I like the fact you can take completely apart for cleaning and regreasing. CK has good regreasing option but you can not really take apart and seals can be a bit sensitive to pumping in grease requiring a bit more care. I think Enduro has a better solution for just a bit more money.

A very decent bottom bracket . . . with one big exception.
I just purchased this unit and it is as free-spinning as I was lead to believe. It is very well made and it was easy to install. The unit came with all that was necessary except for a wiggle washer that my LBS supplied. It is also user-serviceable which the Dura-Ace bottom bracket I purchased first was not.The big problem with this BB is that the bearing ID is about 23.8mm and the Shimano spindle is about 24.1mm. That makes it extremely difficult to remove the spindle so the bearings can be serviced. When I tried to remove the bearing, I was forced to pound the left side of the spindle to force it out of the bearing but I wound up completely destroying the bearing. If you only ride in dry weather, you may not have to ever remove the spindle to service the bearings but who can really predict that?I hate it when I have to do one of these type reviews.I really have some doubts that the outboard bearings on todays bottom brackets represent a step forward. This bottom bracket replaced a Shimano Ultegra Octa-link V1 bb and it was perfect from the day I installed it 19 years ago. It may also explain why we have gear combinations of 53-39T.To install the cups, my LBS used a Wolf Tooth Components Bottom Bracket Tool. The Park BBT-19 tool also works. Both use a 3/8 drive socket wrench and therefore both allow the cups to be torqued to Enduro's specs.
