Got this on recommendation from my son who is a detective. He knows. Also keeps me up to date with disabling flashlights.My grocery store now has a recording of warnings about safety in the parking lot; nothing of value left in car, lock it up, be aware of your surroundings, (AT A GROCERY STORE?!?) Certain people carry this brand on duty. It’s very powerful and potent. I highly recommend this for someone trained to use it. Definitely the best.

Size Issue
I bought two for my wife and daughter. They complained that it's large diameter is too big to carry in their pocketbook. I'm disappointed because it's highly recommended for it's effectiveness.
