Himalayan salt lamps purify air through the power of hygroscopy, meaning that they attract water molecules from the surrounding environment then absorb those molecules – as well as any foreign particles they may be carrying – into the salt crystal. As the HPS lamp warms up from the heat produced by the light bulb inside, that same water then evaporates back into the air and the trapped particles of dust, pollen, smoke, remain locked in the salt.

Replacement of Lighting unit viz., Cord & Dimmer a must for checking the Item
The Product per say , the the Salt lamp may be okay but the Lighting System viz., the cable & dimmer - has an issue and is non operational I.e., both the bulbs were tried out however it did not Light the Lamp. There seems to be a loose connection . It will be appreciated if another Lighting Unit namely the Chord and Dimmer is provisioned at the earliest so as to check upon the utility of the Himalayan Salt Lamp. Anticipating an early response . Disappointed
The product looked good on the face of it. Worked well for a week but stopped working after 10days. The bulb is fine but the lamp just doesn't work.. Disappointed!
