I really want to like this camera. It takes decent 360° photos with only minor stitching artifacts. The video is less impressive, but I didn't expect much at this price point. My main use is for shooting 360° location photos. The photos look great, but after less than a day of use, the power button stuck and wouldn't power on the camera. After a reset, the camera powered back on once, and I had to leave it on and charge it in my car to assure the battery didn't run down between locations. After I returned home, no amount of pressing the reset button would power on the camera. Returned and have a replacement on the way. I'll update the review once I get the replacement. Update- Amazon replaced the defective unit quickly. I used the replacement camera on 4 separate days over the course of a week. The power button on this camera has worked flawlessly. It takes great photos and I can say I am very satisfied with the replacement. I have uploaded the photos to both Facebook and Google Street View and they are recognized as 360° photos. This is why I had to come back and change my review to 4 stars. I think for the price, most users will be very happy with the results from this camera. Second Update 6/18/2021 After using the replacement camera very little over the past 6 months, I need to update my review. I wouldn't purchase this camera. I took it out on a short hike in late May 2021. When I turned the camera on, it wouldn't power down using the power button. It became very hot and I was afraid it would catch fire, it was so hot. I finally had to let the battery discharge before it was made safe. Since it is still under the 1-year warranty, I used the contact form on the company website to send a request for an RA number to return it for warranty work. No Response! After waiting a week, I sent an e-mail to the company support e-mail address. It has been over another week and still no response. This is terrible customer service and after the failure of 2 units I can't recommend anyone purchase this camera. The power button needs a total redesign, and customer service is totally AWOL. Spend your money on a 360 camera that is better quality, I know I will be.

For the money, this is a decent 360 camera. I'm glad I bought it, and I would buy it again. I've had it for about 8 months and have used it a couple dozen times. It seems they stopped making it. That's too bad. i think they should fix the issues, best they can, and keep the next version affordable. My ratings consider this camera at its price. This is the easy-cam point-and-shoot of VR. I'm rating it as such. Pros: * In its most basic usage, it's pretty simple to use. * The videos are pretty good. They are only 4K, but given that, they're good. * You can attach an external battery and get longer videos. * If you learn how, you have some control over exposure and such. * It's rugged, so I don't mind taking it wherever. * It's cheap, so I don't mind taking it wherever. * It's small, so it's easy to take wherever. * The online training videos are useful. Cons * Sound quality is fine except that it's very faint. And, there is no way to attach an external mic. This is the main reason I gave it only four stars. Even at the price point, there could be an external mic jack or something. * Doing anything advanced with it might require experience that few have. For example, it took me a while to figure out how to change the nadir image. You can't do that and have internet on your phone at the same time. So, you have to download the image to your phone. Then, you need to be able to figure out where the download went from within your phone's file system. Hint to the devs - allow adding the nadir image from the SD card. * The 4K limit definitely shows. But, it's a cheap camera, so... it's ok. * There is no stabilization. Unless you've got your runway model walk down pat, your viewers will feel the effects of the camera movement if you take video while walking. Adding stabilization would help a lot. As it is, keeping the camera still is best. * The software devs went out of their way to make an easy interface, and they mostly did a great job. But, there is room for improvement.

I mean it does work as intended, mostly. The app does work and takes images and video and saves it to your SD card correctly but streaming doesn't work and the logo doesn't show up on images and videos when its turned on and shown in the preview. Its very buggy and sometimes the WiFi just so turns off even when I'm charging the camera and sometimes it just freezes the preview when I'm walking taking pictures with my helmet. The camera is decent I guess, Except for the alignment of the lenses. Theres a seam down the side that can't be adjusted in anyway unless you take it apart and do something about it. The quality isn't the worst but it isn't high quality unless your looking at it from far away lol. Its hard to plug in the charger and screw the mount to the phone at the same time and the camera is loose in the mount for it being screwed to only one side. Now For what I a originally wanted the camera for. Google Street View. It is NOT Google Street View Ready not what it claims to be. I mean if you download it from the camera and upload it to the app it will work that way but they just strait up lied. So I mean for it being the cheapest camera I could find its not that bad cause it works.

I Iove this 360 camera so much the quality blew my mind for the price. I bought a 360 camera just last month and despite it claiming it was recording 4k it was grainy and terrible quality but I decided to upgrade and wow for just a tiny bit more money this unit is amazing and its very easy to use the only thing I'm not as crazy about is the battery hardly lasted for much time but I can always use an external battery pack.

buen producto, pero su APP fatal, no deja editar los videos, no hace streaming para en vivos en Facebook como dice la publicación. se le manda correo a soporte para que me ayuden con este tema y mas de 1 semana y no han dado respuesta.

Compré esta cámara 360 a principios de enero de 2023 con grandes expectativas, pero lamentablemente, mi experiencia ha sido bastante decepcionante. Aunque al principio la cámara cumplía con su función básica, notamos desde el principio que se calentaba mucho incluso con un uso moderado. El problema se agravó cuando, después de menos de un año de uso, la batería explotó y la cámara se abrió por completo. Este incidente aparte de poner en riesgo nuestra seguridad, obviamente también dejó inutilizable el dispositivo. La calidad del producto claramente dejó mucho que desear con esta situacion. Además del incidente con la batería, la constante y excesivo calentamiento de la cámara era una preocupación que teníamos desde el inicio. En varias ocasiones, tuvimos que esperar a que se enfriara antes de poder utilizarla nuevamente, lo cual era bastante molesto y afectó negativamente la experiencia de uso. En resumen, mi experiencia con esta cámara ha sido sumamente negativa. No solo la durabilidad del producto es cuestionable, sino que la seguridad también está en entredicho después del incidente con la batería. Basándome en mi experiencia, no puedo recomendar esta cámara. Es importante considerar alternativas más confiables y seguras en el mercado.
