This is the second Jacia house mattress I have ordered, I have the king and the queen and have had the king for over a year. You will love this mattress if you know what you are looking for and it fits your sleep style and firmness level. It is not a memory foam mattress, it is innerspring and latex- that means you will not sink into the mattress but sleep on top of it, this will help you sleep cooler since you are not trapping heat. The feeling is supportive and and leaning towards firm but not too hard. It is a responsive bed- meaning it has a bit of cushioned bounce.The queen size mattress weighs 98lbs which indicates the use of quality materials and the coils and foams are substantial. It appears to be well made and the coils are 15 guage which is above average or similiar guage in much more expensive mattresses. There isn't much off gassing (smell) due to there is not a lot of foam and latex is a natural material. The bed also will come to full size 12" in about 24hrs. The edge support is a bit weak but not terrible.You can buy a better hybrid mattress but it will cost you over $1,000.00. After doing my research, I believe this is the best mattress under $500 you will find on Amazon.

Hubby likes firm. I like super soft. This mattress is a decent compromise and great quality for the money. He’s got arthritis and sleeps very well with less pain on this bed. I have fibromyalgia and prefer something softer, but it’s really not too bad. I’m also very sensitive to chemicals and was very pleased we only had to let it air out one day before I could tolerate it. There’s no smell whatsoever and no hidden chemicals to trigger my migraines. We actually bought the same brand for our camper.

I love the mattress, very comfortable. I do recommend two people handle the parcel as is very heavy, but I was able to manage alone!! So you can do it on your own. I personally would prefer it be a bit firmer, but it may not be fully inflated yet, as I did sleep on it @ 38hr hr vs the 48-72 that was advised. Very satisfied with product! Each night gets better!

It is more on a plush side than I’ve expected, but overall, I would recommend the mattress.

So I know this review is late. However we’ve had it a few year. At first it was great loved sleeping on it now a few years in there’s a definite sagging on my side of the bed. You can feel the firmness in the middle of the bed where husband and I don’t sleep. There’s sagging on his side as well. My back and hips hurt at time as well as my shoulders so now we’re are looking to buy a new bed. Oh well

Arrived in great shape. Let it expand for 72 hours before sleeping on it. Felt firmer then expected and thought it would soften up over time. We've had it now for 11 months and the top layer has conformed to our bodies, which means there are major indentations on the mattress for my/our shoulders and hips and it doesn't return to flat and smooth. My wife is a roller and she sleeps in various ways though out the night due to hip and back pain. For some this might not be a big deal, but for us it means sleeping on the same spot every night and then the rolling effect happens and you roll back into the same spot. So we are now shopping for a topper. Still much firmer then expected.

The mattress is a bit firmer than medium that is for sure! The description informs me it would come in a box however when it arrived it was in an extremely ripped purple bag that was tapped at both ends where zippers used to be! The good news the matress inside was undamaged so it seemed. We got the mattress to our room and unpackaged with care and even more careful when I'm dealing the bed. once we broke the seal it instantly started to rise up. Now the description says 48-72 hours recommended to wait before sleeping on it, and that it could take up to a week to fully rise. They were not wrong there however we waited the full week before sleeping on it because on both the head and foot of the bed did not rise they stayed releitivly compressed! And sitting on the end of the bed is out of the question because it did not rise it squishes bad and you almost slide off end of bed! The sides are a little less soft but when you get right to the edge it squishes a bit when sitting upright with feet on floor, yet the rest of the bed is quiet firm. I will add a light at the end of the tunnel. Even though its firmer than I was expecting it to be, there was a pain in my lower back that prior to sleeping on the bed would not go away! However after just sleeping in the bed one night that pain in my lower back had significantly decreased the next day, after the following night it had almost gone away, By third morning of waking up with this newly found love in a firm bed my back pain in my lower back had almost gone away!!!! Guess I needed a former mattress all along!

I just want to start by saying I was very hesitant to buy a mattress on amazon, especially because I bought my last mattress online and it is memory foam, it was so hard and I basically haven’t slept well since I got it. We just bought a new house and had to refurbish pretty much every room bc it’s a big house, we upgraded to a king size mattress and I was on a budget, after a week of reading reviews and about a dozen mattresses just sitting in my cart I ordered this one. It’s been a month and we love it! I sleep the entire night, wake up so rested and early without my alarm, ready for the day.
