My elder cat has two upright scratching posts that she uses multiple times a day and they’re tall enough that she can fully stretch upwards on them. But I thought having a floor scratcher might be nice for her and I was right. If this thing was a bit larger it would be perfect but she still uses it every day and will often times lay on or near it when she’s hanging out. The catnip that came with it also was favored by her and immediately drew her to it when I first set it up and got her scratching. The shark graphic on the side is beginning to peel at the corners but it’s still there and adds some color to the brown cardboard the mat is made from. Overall I’m very happy I bought this for her and when it’s used up I’ll purchase another.

Super lightweight and the only downside is when my cat walks off the other side tilts off the ground and she’s only 3lbs. Value is great and no assembly required.

It's very high quality, dense & sturdy and will hold up for quite a while. I failed, though, to pay attention to the measurements when I chose it and it is too small for my 17 pound, lanky boy. Definitely made for smaller cats, maybe under 12 lbs, but a very good product.

Let’s be real here, this is for your cats and not for you. Do they love scratching on it? Yes. If you don’t let them outside, this is a good opportunity to let them to let out their killer instincts. We have a coyote problem here so we don’t let our feline friends outside. These pads are a great stress relief for them it seems. Will they wake you up at night by scratching and are they a pain to clean up the mess? Also yes. But again, it’s for the cats. Quality product.

I observed that much of the scratching my Siamese does is on horizontal surfaces. He will use his scratching post. I set this board on the edge of the bed where he scratches and he went to town. He had a bit of a learning curve because it slipped, but he but his back paws on it and solved the problem. It is new so I can't tell how durable it is, but so far it's durable. I did not have to use the catnip. I'll use it later.k

Great scratch pad for cats. I have two cats and they love it. Definitely cheaper quality than some I have had before but for the price you really can’t complain it’s a great one to have just around.

So first for the plus side. My girl likes it I’ve seen her use it multiple times in the past week since I got it. The little paw prints on the size were very cute too!Now for the cons: immediately I got the box I could tell it was smaller than what I expected, but to be fair that could’ve been an oversight from my part. Now my biggest issue is the quality. I do NOT think this will last very long. In the second picture I put it next to one of her old scratchers. I’ve had it for a whole year and its only now that its practically unusable. The new one has only been lightly used. I have seen that cat go hard on scratchers but she hasn’t with this one. YET its only been a week and I do not see it lasting more than a month, and thats being generous! I got her a bigger one for the same price that isn’t as crumbly despite much heavier use.
