I’m so disappointed with this product. Upon opening, it becomes obvious that this oil does not remotely smell like cedar. It has an off-putting, musty earthy odor. I put quite a bit on a hanging cedar plank in closet anyway but needn’t have worried about the smell being “off” because the smell disappeared immediately. This is apparently mostly carrier oil. I’m going to go with the more expensive, reliable oils from now on. Cheaper oils are going to cost you more in long run since they simply don’t perform. Put the money you would have spent on this and buy a good essential oil.

I'm unhappy with this product. I am not familiar with all of the different species of cedar, so I don't know what Texas cedar smells like, but I wanted something that smells like cedar chips used in animal bedding, sweet, woody, pleasant. This stuff smells bad. I just don't see me freshening a room with it. So I'm not saying it's a bad product, but seeing so many negative reviews from people saying the same thing, I would ask this seller to consider adding a disclaimer, maybe: "This does not smell like traditional cedar" maybe? Also, in your description, it says organic, but it does not say organic on the bottle, and that's questionable advertising.EDIT: I decided to put a few drops on my salt lamp just to give it a try, and I'm pleasantly surprised. It's subtle, not overpowering, and it's actually a soothing scent. So I've upped the star rating to four :)

Definitely a nice oil. Good strong cedar scent. Delivery was fast. I am picky with cedar oil, I like it strong and authentic and this oil delivers. Will be ordering again.

Disappointed. The scent of cederwood oil neither has nice fregrance nor eliminates odor at all I expected the nice and sweet aroma of " cederwood chips for gardening which I love very much. I purchased it to eliminate cigarettes odors on carpets and walls and make my home smell nice and sweet, which the manufacturer claims that their cederwood oil will.

Very strong smell. Lasted at least two days on my diffuser only, which is not a whole lot but not bad at all. Smells like fresh wood

No scent, no anything.When compared to my other favorite essential oil scents (lemongrass, eucalyptus) this oil does not have a scent at all. Maybe I got a bad batch but that’s not product that should be sold in that case.Would not recommend unless you want to add a scent less oil to your diffuser.

I used this oil to mix in with my paint to paint my kitchen cabinets definitely gave them the cedar wood scent I wanted and was perfect for what I did. I also use it in my diffuser to give my house the country feeling and my guests that come over have no idea but love it

I'm not usually the kind of person to write reviews but this is the worst smelling cedarwood essential oil I've ever bought. I honestly wasn't expecting much, I just needed to hit my free shipping price point but this was an absolute waste of money. It's no where near the smell I was hoping for, it smells more like 'the house of someone who's really into illegal activities' than 'the cabin in the woods' smell I've come to associate cedarwood with.
